As the need for support continues to grow, The Otis Foundation is issuing a heartfelt call to action, seeking donated time at properties in key regions across Australia, particularly in Western Australia (WA), New South Wales (NSW), and Queensland (QLD).
With over 26,000 people diagnosed with Breast Cancer every year in Australia, demand for these much-needed retreats has outpaced the current supply of available properties. In WA, NSW, and QLD, where the need is especially pressing, we are urgently seeking new property donors. These properties can range from Airbnbs, holiday houses, and motels, to caravan parks - any space that can offer a haven for those in need of respite.
We are flexible and happy to have time at properties that are outside peak periods, school holidays and busy times.
"We've witnessed firsthand the transformative power of these retreats," says Claire Culley, CEO of The Otis Foundation.
